We have created CSR area that handles, measures and communicates our CSR activities and programs that are distributed throughout Globant. Through the management of the impact on our environment, and the communication of results to our stakeholders, we will achieve greater value. We focus our efforts on the following guidelines:

Globant´s culture is the most important reason for its growth, and it is the base for the future of the company. That’s why we have established our "Globant Manifesto”, with values that are shared by all members of the company:

Internal Public & Life at Globant
Environment
We have two big campaigns ongoing in order to help the environment: “Think Green” and “Globant Unplugged”.
On one hand, “Think Green” campaign involves paper, plastic and hardware recycling.
- Paper recycling – This campaign is available for Buenos Aires, La Plata, Rosario and Córdoba. We recycle different types of paper that are donated to the Fundación Garrahan (www.vaporlospibes.com.ar)
- Plastic recycling – This campaign started as a Glober initiative at La Plata´s offices. A group of Globers suggested recycling bottle caps for the Fundación Garrahan. This initiative is currently ongoing in Buenos Aires, La Plata and Tandil.
- Hardware recycling. A couple of years ago we started working with Fundación Equidad were we donate all the hardware and electronic appliances that we don’t use. Once a year we launch campaigns involving the hole company to join the recycling, inviting the Globers to bring things that they may have at home and don’t use anymore. We are working with this Foundation at Buenos Aires and La Plata, and we are searching for local foundations in Tandil, Rosario and Córdoba so as to launch the same campaign.
On the other hand “Globant Unplugged” is focused in the prevention and taking care of the environment in our daily duties and also at home. We try to change the mind set in our Globers to use the resources with efficiency and caution. We are reaching this initiative by the promotion of certain actions such as:
- Turning off the lights at meeting rooms and offices when they are not being used
- Turning off the computers
- Turning off the TVs and electrical appliances at the offices
- Using water efficiently
We are also analyzing to start with other type of Think Green and Globant Unplugged campaigns, which, most of them, are Glober´s initiatives.
Community
When we thought what kind of actions to lead, regarding the community, we have detected two big groups: Education and Inclusive Business, but we want to do it focusing in IT.
Regarding Education we have been working in different levels:
Our goal in inclusive business is to add value in the locations were Globant has, or may have, offices. The objective is to improve employability and reduce the digital gap in our society.
