Martín Migoya
CEO
Martin has been an entrepreneur since his early youth. As Globant´s CEO, Martín drove the company from a small start-up to an organization with more than 1500 professionals.
Martin has been an entrepreneur since his early youth. In 2003, together with 3 friends he founded Globant, a company that in less than 5 years turned into 7a multinational focused on the creation of innovative software products.
As Globants CEO, Martín drove the company from a small start-up to an organization with more than 1500 professionals and presence in the US, UK, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Argentina.
His passion is to inspire future entrepreneurs, that´s why he frequently gives lectures at different events and has been a jury at the Endeavor Entrepreneurs panel and at La Red Innova. The MIT Sloan School of Management wrote a business case about Globant entitled: "Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America", and invited Martin to give lectures to their MBA students.
Martín was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005 and has won a Konex Award as one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of 2008. He was selected as one the Argentinean Creative of 2009 (Círculo de Creativos de la Argentina) and was awarded with the Security Award as one of the most distinguished Businessmen of the year (2009). He is also a member of the Young President´s Organization (YPO).
Martín holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from La Plata University and a Master degree in Business Administration from CEMA University.
Martín Umaran
COO
Martín is responsible for the company´s Merger & Acquisition process and for its strategic initiatives. He also supervises the Human Capital Department.
Martin has extensive experience in business and operations management for the technology and logistics industries. Prior to co-founding Globant, Martín executed complex projects for Santander Bank, Caja de Ahorro y Seguros and the public administration of different countries in Latin America. At YPF Ecuador, Martin implemented the automation systems and maintenance of the company´s facilities in the Amazonas. He also worked at Roman Logistics, where he served in the business development area.
As Globant´s COO, Martín is responsible for the company´s Merger & Acquisition process and for its strategic initiatives. Globant has already acquired two Argentinean companies -Accendra and Openware, and intends to keep on adding more organizations to foster its growth. He also supervises the Human Capital Department, which includes Career & Talent Development, People Care and Globant´s Champions.
Thanks to the high quality of its products and services, Globant´s portfolio of customers mainly includes Fortune 500 companies. Moreover, Globant has been recognized as Top Emerging Global Service Provider by Global Services Magazine, and the MIT uses its business case entitled: "Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America" in its Global Entrepreneurship Lab.
Together with his three partners, also co-founders of Globant, Martín was selected Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005.
Martín has lived and worked in Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela and UK. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Plata University and a Master in Business Administration from IDEA University.
Néstor Nocetti
VP Innovation Labs
Néstor is in charge of delivering the adequate structure for business consolidation and expansion, aligned with the corporate objectives and vision.
Néstor has wide experience in the information technology industry. Prior to co-founding Globant, Nestor worked on several projects related to Geographic Information Systems, for Light Rio de Janeiro, electricity provider in Brazil and UTE, public electricity provider in Uruguay. He also worked as consultant on issues related to IT development, strategy and operations in the oil-and-gas market, for ENAP Chile and YPF Argentina.
As our VP Innovation Labs, Néstor is in charge of delivering the adequate structure for business consolidation and expansion, aligned with the corporate objectives and vision. Under his direction, Globant has developed Glow, an advanced tool that enables us to exactly match the skill requirements for the scope with our resource pools, building High Performance Teams with the perfect mixture of skills for each product development need. Thanks to projects like this one, Globant has grown at a 100 per cent annual rate since it was born.
Among other recognitions, the company has been distinguished as Top Emerging Global Service Provider by Global Services Magazine, and has been selected by the MIT to write a business case entitled: "Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America".
Together with the other three Globant´s founders, Nestro was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005.
Néstor has lived and worked in Argentina, Chile and Brazil. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from La Plata University and a degree in Business Direction from IAE University.
Guibert Englebienne
CTO
Guibert leads the software product development practice and the Premier League, a group that gathers the most experienced IT professionals of Globant.
Guibert has an extensive experience in the information technology and communication industries. Prior to co-founding Globant, Guibert was IBM's scientific researcher and later headed Technology for CallNow.com Inc.. He also conceived and developed several US patented technologies for the telecom sector.
As Globant CTO, Guibert leads the software product development practice and the Premier League, a group that gathers the most experienced professionals of Globant and that is focused on increasing the value added to the clients. Through Guibert´s guidance, Globant has become an expert in some of the most relevant technologies of these times, such as Social Networks, Videogames and Mobile. It has also become the first company to have specific practices around popular Google technologies like OpenSocial, Google Checkout and Google App Engine and has actively contributed with the open source communities with different applications. This expertise has placed Globant as one of the top providers in the industry. Among other recognitions, it has been distinguished as Top Emerging Global Service Provider by Global Services Magazine and has been selected by the MIT to write a business case entitled: "Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America".

Guibert has developed his career in Argentina, US, UK and Venezuela. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from UNICEN University.
Guillermo Marsicovetere
CBO
Guillermo joined the board of Globant in 2007. As the Chief Business Officer, he assists on leading the company’s worldwide growth.
Guillermo started his career as a software engineer in the mid seventies, working for companies like Burroughs, Wang and Convergente Technologies, among others. Then he joined Sisteco, a Juncal Group company, where he developed his career in software, R&D management, sales, sales management, and operations management. In the mid eighties he became to Sisteco-Open Systems Managing Director.
In 1993 joined Sun Microsystems where he has covered several management positions including Latin America Partner and Sales Director, Southern Cone President and Managing Director, VP of United Kingdom & Ireland, second largest Sun Microsystems operation worldwide.
Back in Argentina, in 2007, he joined the board of Globant as Chief Business Officer to assist on leading the company’s worldwide growth.
During his more than 30 years career has participated in several start-ups, has been board member of multiple organizations, active member of numerous business chambers and not-for-profit organizations, managed multi-billon dollar operations, and led organization in Argentina, US, UK, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, and Colombia.
Kelly Bauer
VP Operations
As VP of Operations, Kelly leads the Globant Studio Operations team, as well as Staffing, Recruiting and the Project Management Office.
As a .com veteran, Kelly has been engaged in the IT industry since the mid 1990’s. During that time she developed a passion for the software development process, wearing many different hats including marketing, analysis, quality engineering, and project management.
In 2001, she joined Sabre-Holdings, Inc. based in Texas as a ‘web expert’. During her 8-year tenure she honed her skills in Information Architecture, Technical/Business Analysis, Project Management and Business Operations before moving to Buenos Aires as onsite leadership and Technology Program Manager for the Travelocity offshore development center in Argentina.
As VP of Operations, Kelly leads the Globant Studio Operations team, as well as Staffing, Recruiting and the Project Management Office.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in Psychology and Spanish.
Wanda Weigert
Communications Manager
As Communications Manager, Wanda coordinates Globant´s relationship with the press and is responsible for internal and external communications strategies.
Wanda has more than 8 years of experience in Communications and PR. Prior to joining Globant she worked at Jota Group, a Publishing House where she was responsible of the development of corporate communications tools for different multinational customers. At Globant, Wanda was responsible for the creation of Globant´s Communications department, with the goal of managing and supervising Globant´s brand across the markets.
As Communications Manager, Wanda coordinates Globant´s relationship with the press in Latin America, US and UK. She is also responsible for developing both internal and external communications strategies.
Wanda has a Bachelor Degree in Social Communications (Austral University) and post-graduate studies in Marketing (UCA).
Gustavo Barreiro
Bussines Operations Director
Gustavo is responsible for giving support to the sales force during the complete sales process, focusing on business analysis and profitability.
Gustavo Barreiro has extensive experience in IT Consulting. Before joining Globant he work at different renowned companies such as Siemens-Itron Business Services, Paradigma Consultores Asociados and Pecom Nec. Prior to that, he leaded a Consulting team at Correo Argentino, where he was in charge of redefining the 33 postal processing centers and of implementing the “Track&Trace” System across the country.
As Globant´s head of Sales Operations, Gustavo is responsible for giving support to the sales force during the complete sales process and also during it interaction with other departments inside the company, focusing on business analysis and profitability. Moreover, he evaluates the sales force performance and fulfillment of its objectives.
From Business Controlling, Gustavo is in charge of preparing the company´s forecast and of supervising the accomplishment of sales and profitability targets established for the organization, offering analytic information to the different heads of the business units.
Gustavo holds a degree in Industry Engineering from Buenos Aires University, and a Master degree in Business Administration from IDEA, with a specialization in strategy by the London Business School.
Alejandro Scannapieco
CFO
As Globant´s CFO, Alejandro is in charge of Finance & Accounting, Business Controlling and Procurement & Facilities.
Alejandro has extensive experience in Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Globant, he worked as Chief Financial Officer at Microsoft South Cone for 6 years, headquartered in Buenos Aires. As CFO, he was in charge of Finance & Accounting, Business Support and Procurement & Facilities for Microsoft in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. At Microsoft, Alejandro also worked as Business & Financial Controller for South Cone.
Before joining Microsoft, Alejandro worked as Chief Financial Officer at Patagon South America, a media & broker online internet start-up that was sold to Santander Bank in 2000 for $800m. He also worked for 5 years at JPMorgan Bank, in the Finance & Investment Banking area, including a tenure of 2 years in New York.
He started his professional career at Ernst & Young, were he worked for 3 years as Senior Auditor.
Alejandro Scannapieco is a CPA and has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Argentine Catholic University). He has done post-graduate studies in Capital Markets in the same university and a Master in Finance in Torcuato Di Tella University.
