Reflect Systems, Inc. was incorporated in September 2001 in Dallas, Texas, to provide enterprises with the critical software necessary to seamlessly create, manage and distribute bandwidth-intensive applications such as streaming media and image files.

The ReflectNet™ software suite addresses the problems of webcast creation, management and distribution in one totally integrated, easy-to-use package. Three integrated components — ReflectStudio™, ReflectManager™, and ReflectEdge™ — work together seamlessly to enable communication with thousands of employees in a matter of minutes.

Some challenges included:

• Provide detailed functional and technical testing of the ReflectView console and the ReflectView manager application as well as thorough integration and load testing of the ReflectView Suite;
• Detect potential performance issues by loading and stress testing the entire system;
• Recommend improvements for the current system.

Our Solution

• Perform all testing activities off-shore while the development team works on-shore in the USA;
• Very strict timeframes due to product market launch date not movable.

The Result

• Performed functional and technical testing for the ReflectView console and ReflectView manager and the Players;
• Tested the entire system using load-/stress-open source testing tools to detect performance issues;
• Provided performance metrics of each delivery, along with weekly status update reports informing the client of the progress of the project. Additionally, our daily communication with the client helped assure that every problem is solved as rapidly as possible.
