Transaction between the two Argentinean companies to strengthen and expand service offerings in Latin America, US and Europe

Buenos Aires, June, 2008- Globant, the Latin American leader in software product development and maintenance outsourcing, has announced the acquisition of Accendra, an Argentinean software company. The acquisition brings strategic talent to Globant, expanding its portfolio, strengthening the company’s international presence and maintaining Globant’s standard of superior service for all clients.

Accendra’s prominent presence in Latin American, coupled with its strong relationships with key customers in countries such as Chile, Colombia and Mexico, strengthens Globant’s presence in the region.  Accendra’s team of more than 100 professionals is now joining the team of 800 Globant employees to offer an expanded portfolio of services from Globant offices in Buenos Aires, La Plata, Tandil, Chile, Mexico, Boston, Dallas, Palo Alto, Phoenix and London.

The Accendra acquisition solidifies Globant’s position as a key player in the outsourcing industry and strategically positions the company for future acquisitions.
