Infrastructure Open Source Projects

Our Studio not only offers solutions based on existing Open Source and free software projects, but it also contributes to the Open Source generation. Currently, our list of Open Source projects with direct participation are:

DEDO

Biometric Validation System (digital track) for SUSE Linux Desktops.

Biometric Validation System (digital track) for SUSE Linux Desktops. It allows to strengthen the capabilities and policies of an Identity Management System. It obtains the integration to directory systems LDAP, Novell eDirectory, Secugen API, among others.

It includes PAM module for administration, enrollment and resources and profiles storage.

Drupal Module

Ordered Taxonomy Display - TAXI

This module shows node vocabularies and terms in a ordered table, only in full node view. Main features are: table is themeable, uses CSS styles, supports all kinds of taxonomy hierarchies, such as multiple parents, table caching and the module can provide a full taxonomy table page, with customizable URL.

Module was designed by Eduardo Mercovich from Inspiro, developed by Lisandro Cardoso from Globant, and released as a contribution for Drupal community.

DOGO

Solution of perimetral security to offer network protection.

It is a joint initiative between the Openware Company, specialized in Computer security, and the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) - Argentina.

The objective is develop a solution of perimetral security to offer networks protection, that allows to replace high-cost business security tools, and, through the simplification of the system, it can be operated by people, not necessarily experts. It can be used as for professional purposes as for the university and private research.

Amazon CloudWatch Monitor

Amazon CloudWatch Monitor is an useful application that displays statistical graphs of the instances of an Amazon Service. It shows statistical information of CPU, Disk Read and Writes and Network traffic In and Out.

This application allows to provide access to statistical information to different users avoiding the risk of giving administrative privileges to Amazon Console.
