Axel Abulafia | VP Business

In 2006 Axel Abulafia joined Globant as the US West Coast Business Development Director to open Globant´s West Coast office in Palo Alto, CA and ramp-up the company operations in that region.

In 2009 he became the VP of Sales and the Consumer Experience Studio Partner. He is responsible for the Business Development, Demand Generation and the Go-To Market Strategy for the Studio.

Prior to Globant, Axel worked for the Marketing and the Sales Organizations in Novell in 1995. In 2000 he joined Vignette to lead the Sales Engineering team in Latin America. Between 2003 and 2006 Axel was responsible for SAS´s growth in South America, leading the Sales Organization.

Dario Robak | VPTecnology

For more than 15 years,  Darío Robak has been working within the IT industry, gaining extensive experience in building enterprise applications and web-based architectures.

After graduating with an MS degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Dario spent time both teaching and undertaking academic research in the field of Computer Science.

Before joining Globant in 2004, Dario was employed as a Technical Leader and Project Manager at Copesa, the largest media conglomerate in Chile. He has also worked in companies including; Vignette Corp; Syntesys Consulting Group and Andersen Consulting Group.

As Globant’s Premier League Guru, Dario is in charge of managing the Software Development team and is responsible for the activities within Presales and Quality Assurance & Processes. During his time at Globant, Darío guided the software development department through a substantial growth in resources (i.e. from 15 to 500).

Furthermore, Dario has participated in several Mathematics and Computer Science championships. Some of Darío’s prizes and honors include:

- Latin American Champion in the World Finals of the “24th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest” (2000)
- Latin American Champion in the World Finals of the “23th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest” (1999)
- First Place in the 'ACM South American Programming Contest' (1998)
- First Place in the V Ibero American Mathematics Olympiad 'Resolución de Problemas con ordenador' (Problem Resolution with Computers) (1990)
- Silver Medal in the V Ibero American Mathematics Olympiad (1990)
