OAG is a global content management company specialized in travel and transport. OAG has expertise in managing large amounts of data and building applications.

OAG provides a suite of technology applications to aid data management, distribution, display and analysis. OAG Travel Planner application allows users to complete itinerary planning service for flights, hotels, etc. Its offers a smart itinerary building – all flights, 70,000 hotels, extensive travel information, a complete service from only one tool.

Some challenges included:

• Since no Testing process was taking place, a process implementation was needed;
• Meet an ambitious timeline, due to notorious delays in the launch of the product caused by the Indian-based development team

Our Solution

• Introduce OAG to a tailored Testing process since it did not have it’s own;
• Detect potential performance issues by loading and stress testing the entire system;
• Test all versions of the product:
• Stand-alone version
• Hosted Swing-version
• Hosted HTML version

The Result

• Work period of more than three months;
• Obtained high visibility of QA activities, through BRV spreadsheet and daily/weekly status report;
• Achieved a highly integrated QA team and development team;
• More than 446 bugs loaded after executing test cases and performance / compatibility tests;
• As a consequence of Globants high performance, re-planning was necessary to fulfill the level of quality that OAG had delineated;
• OAG acknowledged the importance of testing activities for all applications.
