Our History
Globant´s story began in 2003, when Martín Migoya, Martín Umaran, Guibert Englebienne and Néstor Nocetti decided to set up a new business with a clear goal in mind: create the best Software Product Development and Maintenance company.
It all started when these four engineers noticed the astonishing growth of the IT outsourcing industry in India. Using that as an inspiration, they all left their jobs at multinational companies in order to start their own project.
Six years later, their dream is coming true. Globant is now a global player in the IT outsourcing marketplace. We specialize in Open Source solutions and agile methodologies, with a team of more than 1200 professionals working side-by-side with our clients, irrespective of their location. This working structure makes the implementation of solutions easier than in those firms which support the software factory approach. The exclusive offshore service that those companies render do not allow for the customized solutions that we provide.
All the innovation and growth led Globant to win many awards and recognitions from prestigious institutions, including the MIT, Endeavor, Global Services, La Nación and Mercurio.
