Globant names Alejandro Scannapieco Chief Financial Officer

Buenos Aires, October 1st 2008. – Globant, the Latin American leader in software product development and maintenance outsourcing, today announces that Alejandro Scannapieco is joining the management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Scannapieco will be in charge of Finance & Accounting and will provide support to the Sales Departments. He will also be deeply involved in the Business Processes, adding the value needed to strengthen the expansion that the company is living. 

Alejandro has extensive experience in Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Globant, he worked as Chief Financial Officer at Microsoft South Cone, headquartered in Buenos Aires. As CFO, he was in charge of Finance & Accounting, Business Support, Procurement & Facilities in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. At Microsoft, Alejandro also worked as Business Controller and Administration Manager for South Cone.

Before joining Microsoft, Alejandro worked as Chief Financial Officer at Patagon South America, an Internet start-up sold to Santander Bank in $800M, and was Senior Financial Analyst at JPMorgan Bank during 5 years. He started his professional career at Ernst & Young, were he worked for 3 years as Senior Auditor. 

Alejandro Scannapieco is a CPA and has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Argentine Catholic University). He has done post-graduate studies in Capital Markets in the same university and a Master in Finance in Torcuato Di Tella University.
