• After the success of the two first editions in Buenos Aires and Tandil, Globant renewed its commitment and begins a new edition of this program that trained more than 50 young people. 50% of them are already working in the industry
• For 2012, the company is going to extend the program to other cities in the country side of Argentina

Buenos Aires, november 2011- Globant, the company leader in the creation of innovative software products for global audiences, along with Desarrollar Foundation and Compromiso Foundation, presents a new edition of TesteAR, the Globant´s Corporate Social Responsibility program which is looking for giving best job opportunities for young people in vulnerable situations through IT trainings. The main objetive of TesteAR is to achieve their employment in the technology industry.

El training began in november the 7th in the Desing Metropolitan Centre (CMD). Young people are trained in Manual Testing (the process of the Quality control of the software products). Includes pre-leveling in basic computer, and two modules in technical english and personal and profesional development. The candidates selection was made beetwen all the organizations which are involved.

The first TesteAR course run during 2010 in Buenos Aires, and was a complete success: 50% of graduates are currently working in the industry and the other 50% are studying the university. The second edition has still been running since august, in the city of Tandil. The Secretary of local Development and the local IT chamber have been the partners in Tandil.

The scheme of work will follow 6 steps: 1- 20 young people will be trained in Manual Testing.
2- We work with Young people, beetwen 18 and 25 years old, who have finished the high school.
3- The training is for four months, four hours per day, from Monday to friday.
4- Consist of four modules: Basic computer, technical english and profesional and personal development.
5- It will give them $ 150 a month in scholarship and travel expenses.
6- Students will be permanently accompanied by a tutor and the TesteAR team.
