Globant introduces its travel agency in Las Leñas

Buenos Aires, July 2007 - - Globant, a leading company in global IT services and solutions, recently featured its travel agency Globers with an exclusive initiation tour for employees around Las Leñas, a winter hot spot in Mendoza, Argentina.

Globant organized a trip to this renowned winter-season-meeting-point offering a promotional package which included transfer, accommodation, meals, passes and equipment all included.

The trip was an excuse to introduce Globers, the brand new company’s travel agency that started its operations in July 2007. Globers was created to develop and offer a high rated services for travelers. Since it was launched, the agency has developed a series of products and benefits for employees at Globant. And the trip to Las Leñas was the first step.

Thirty four persons got the chance of enjoying Globant’s special benefit, during three enjoyable ski and snowboarding days. “Globers was created to enhance our internal travel requirements, and to offer special promotions in house and for the general public. This trip was great because of the opportunity to take a break all together and the fun time. It was another way to show why Globant is the best place to work”, points out Guibert Englebienne, Globant’s CTO.

“We want our people to travel around the world, and the best way to contribute with this is bringing up the tools to make it happen. Those three days in Las Leñas were the perfect starting to this initiative”, said Globant’s CEO Martín Migoya.

Globers offers services for Globant’s employees, as well as for the general public, with special travel packages and benefits designed for each season. It also plans to offer special products for IT companies.
