New Senior VP for Sales and Operations of Europe, Middle East and Africa

United Kingdom, London - March 25th, 2009. Globant, the Latin American leader in software product development, R&D, and IT maintenance outsourcing, is delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Woolley to the role of Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa.  Rob will be responsible for driving Globant´s Sales and Operations in all industry segments and major accounts across EMEA, as well as the development and execution of Globant´s growth strategy and programmes in the region. Rob will be based in Globant´s London Office.

Rob has been in the Industry for nearly 20 years and joins Globant after 9 years at Sun Microsystems, where he lead the UK Services Sales division within the Finance District for the last 5 years, achieving significant growth during the period and building revenues to $120M. Prior to Sun he held various positions at ICL, Info´Products Europe and the Wakebourne Group.

Married with 3 daughters and residing in Twickenham, England he lists Rugby, Football and Motor Racing amongst his hobbies.
