responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality and completeness
  • Work with various teams to analyze data in the data warehouse, data mart or operational systems
  • Contributor in the creation of a robust Business Intelligence environment that allows business customers to view and manipulate data sets on their own Inform data and project sponsors of vision and progress
  • Work with Business Analysts and potentially business customers to verify requirements
  • Follow design documents involving source and destination databases
  • Work with business users to translate requirements into system flows, data flows, data mappings etc., and develop solutions to complex business problems
  • Responsible for the transforming, moving, storing , delivering all data within the Enterprise
  • Responsible for designing and setting up ETL processes to and from a High volume data warehouse

Requirements

  • Design, Develop, Test, Implement and troubleshoot ETL mappings and workflows in a large Data Warehouse environment
  • A solid understanding of web technologies, relational databases, and data warehousing
  • Good understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL designs for loading Star Schemas
  • Strong database experience, data analysis and analytical skills
  • Experience with data visualization technologies like Tableau, QiikView
  • Prior experience with MySQL
  • Experience developing and modifying scripts in a Linux or Unix environment
  • Strong working experience with the SDLC processes Working in an Agile environment following a structured build and publishing process
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Integration Products like Pentaho, a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Receives report requests, evaluates requirements, and recommends existing or new solutions.
  • Supports one or more business units in preparing weekly and monthly analysis and reporting to drive the business while ensuring accuracy and consistency. 
  • Creates reports and data products.
  • Assists customers with information needs through understanding of data and metadata content.
  • Identifies and assesses potential data sources.
  • Elicits requirements using interviews, requirements meetings, surveys, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
  • Assists with prototype creation, and coordinates prototype reviews.

Requirements:

  • Tableau (3+ yrs experience)
  • Oracle
  • DWH (Data warehousing concepts and experience)
  • Datamarts
  • Database schema design and modelling
  • Feed ingestion
  • Financial business knowledge: MIS, Revenue, Forecasting, MarketShare, Expense management, Project billing
  • Ability to map domain specific data to business requirements in interactive reporting capabilities

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be part of the team providing critical business insight, planning and advisory services for our client. You will help identify and priorities biggest challenges and key opportunities in the areas of business growth, product innovation, and strategic planning. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance for informed, impactful decision-making. To be successful, you will be an organized self-starter with a strong client-service orientation, a passion for continual improvement and innovation, and strong technical skills that enable you to create scale.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with stakeholders, across our client's cross-functional team (but especially in Marketing, Product Management and Engineering) to provide business-critical data, metrics and reports
  • Maintain and develop data, metrics and reports.
  • Build dashboards using common Google data visualization technologies to give stakeholders ongoing visibility into key metrics
  • Present insights and findings in front of stakeholders and leaders of the organization.
  • Provide data for ad hoc requests, answer questions about the team's dashboards, tables, and lead training for users. 

Minimum Qualification:

  • BA/BS degree with an emphasis on work of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Working proficiency with SQL, data, warehousing and building dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience analyzing large datasets with strong statistical, quantitative modeling, and forecasting skills.
  • Experience with some scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting. 
  • Familiarity with Marketing, CRM, Product analytics.
