Automation Test Engineer is responsible for efficiently leading a team of testers to meet product goals. Identifying how his test teams aligns within an organization and how this team would achieve the roadmap identified for the project. Identifying the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements document. Identifying the tools for test reporting, test management and test automation. Identifying the required metrics and work to have them in place and initiating the test planning activities for test case design, encouraging his team to hold review meetings and ensure the review comments are incorporated. Reviewing product requirements, functional and design specifications to determine and preparing automated test cases. Planning and coordinating all testing activities of the QC team, including but not limited to test automation, load and stress testing, and integration testing. Reporting test results of the testing and proposing corrective actions. Estimating efforts for all stages of the project. Applying Globant’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process to the project. They will Analyze functional requirements to contribute to developing the final product. Transmitting their knowledge about GCF to customers and new team members. Training and coaching team members in Quality Control processes. Ensuring that functional and non-functional customer requirements are fulfilled. Creating test cases; execution and test planning; reporting bugs. Applying automation testing when required. Defining QA templates for the GCF and developing software based on requirements.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent with two years of work related experience.
