Our founders’ vision was to create a global company that would become a leader in the creation of Digital Journeys, while generating world-class career opportunities for IT professionals.

From inception, we have benefited from strong organic growth and have built a blue-chip client base comprised of leading global companies. We have expanded our delivery centers from one to 37 across 12 countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, India, UK, Spain and the United States), where more than 6,700 Globers work every day.

Received investment from Endeavor Catalyst & WPP. Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn joins Globant’s Board of Advisors. Acquisition of Brazil-based Terra Forum to reinforce Globant’s expertise in innovation and strengthen the presence.

2011

Acquisition of San Francisco-based Nextive to expand expertise in Mobile technologies. Close an investment round with Riverwood Capital and FTV Capital

2010

Gartner Inc. names Globant a “Cool Vendor,” in its Cool Vendors in Business Process Services 2010 report

2009

Globant establishes 8 Studios, organized by specific practices and technologies, including Gaming, Cloud Computing, Social, Big Data and more

2008

Acquisition of two companies to deepen specialization in Microsoft Technologies (Accendra) and Infrastructure Services (Openware). Closed a financing round with Riverwood Capital and FTV Capital

2007

Globant recognized as the Top Emerging Global Services Provider by Global Services Magazine

Globant opens its first office outside Buenos Aires, a development center in Tandil, the first milestone towards creating a decentralized company which brings opportunities closer to the talent
