Code Your Future

Through the Mexico Edition of this program and alongside Holacode, we support students by conducting consultations to iterate on their curriculum, develop tech talks, workshops, and one-on-one sessions.

We've teamed up with Tent, an organization uniting 300+ global companies, to mobilize businesses for refugee inclusion. This includes mentorships, exploring training and employment opportunities for refugees, and financial donations. Additionally, we support the Sunflower Project, aimed at accelerating the economic inclusion of tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugee women.

Through our collaboration with HIAS Romania, between 2024 and 2025, over 15 people with refugee and migrant status will be trained in Programming.

Since 2022, we have provided access to alternative forms of education for victims of armed conflicts, through bootcamps, technical workshops, and soft skills lessons, promoting their employability within the industry.  In 2024, we created a new version of the program to provide opportunities for Afro-Colombian people affected by the internal armed conflict in Chocó, a region located in the Colombian Pacific. In collaboration with the NGO Centro de Innovación del Pacífico, we provided access to IT education through a JavaScript and React bootcamp aimed at creating employability capabilities for 25 people. By January 2025, we had already trained 190 people in the entire "Code Your Future: Construye Paz" program.

We bring technology to communities disconnected from the digital world. Our IT training program empowers Espartanos during their final year of conviction, creating opportunities for social reintegration and job prospects.

In the US, we have renewed our partnership for the next 2 years with NPower, one of the country's largest nonprofits providing free tech training and job placement for military veterans and young adults from underserved communities, for two more years. Through this partnership, Globant will support the training of 500 active military service members in cybersecurity, creating a seamless transition for them as they approach civilian life.

Since 2021, Globant has supported the foundation and its participants through various initiatives, including Soft Mentorships to enhance employability, Masterclasses on different IT topics, and diverse internships. These internships allow Formar participants to apply their programming knowledge in Globant Labs projects and learn about assembling and repairing PCs with the Globant Service Desk team.

Starting in 2023, we have partnered with Generation India, helping them advance Project AMBER, a project aimed at demonstrating improved employment and retention outcomes for over 70,000 trainees (with 50% female participation) across 70 districts of India. In particular, Globant is collaborating towards enhancing the employment outcomes in Jr. Full Stack Java Developer & Cloud Support Practitioner roles

In Latin America, we have been collaborating with Laboratoria since 2018. We support their students through talks on the latest technologies, soft skills workshops, and one-on-one mentorship.
 

Since 2021, Globant has been supporting Junior Achievement Argentina graduates who have completed the technology training courses the institution offers, with mentoring and inspirational spaces, to prepare for job placement in the sector.

In Brazil, we have joined IOS’s efforts to co-create opportunities for employability and income generation for young people, through free professional training in technology. 

Since 2017, Globant has conducted the "SENA New Generations" program to train SENA students in technology, aimed to promote job inclusion and to strengthen Colombia's digital ecosystem by creating a talent pool. By 2024, over 100 Globant employees have trained 228 students, and more than 611 students have participated since the program began. The program includes a learning contract, mentorship, and training in technologies and bilingualism. Upon completion, students can be hired by Globant.

Since 2024 we are supporting the first university residence of Fundación Sí in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where 14 students are currently living there and studying careers in technology.

Globant Chile volunteers have been mentoring women graduates from the technology training programs offered by Talento Digital Academy, since 2023. These mentorships seek to accompany these women while they are looking for their first IT job, guided by Globant collaborators who have much experience in the industry.

Through a partnership with the Mexican Association of Information Technologies (AMITI) and Generation Mexico, we supported "Abriendo Puertas," a program that trains 100 young people on Software Development in Mexico City, 60% of whom are women. The goal is to help them secure employment in the country's digital industry, thereby reducing the youth employability gap.

We have partnered with Fundación Telefónica and Campus 42 to offer scholarships to students in Málaga, Spain, while a team of Globant experts will develop a Web Development module accessible to all Campus 42 students. Additionally, we are planning to provide internships to select Campus 42 graduates at our new Madrid office in 2025.
