Globant, Latin American leader in software product development and maintenance, is sponsoring the eight edition of the “Jornadas Regionales de Software Libre”, which will take place from August 21st to August 23rd in the Belgrano University.

Buenos Aires, August 2008 - Globant, Latin American leader in software product development and maintenance, is sponsoring the eight edition of the “Jornadas Regionales de Software Libre”, which will take place from August 21st to August 23rd in the Belgrano University.
 
During the Summit, organized by CaFeLUG (Free Software Users Group from Buenos Aires), developers, programmers, IT experts and entrepreneurs will gather to exchange ideas, share techniques, discuss and explore free technologies such as Perl, MySQL, JAVA, PHP, Python, Linux, Apache and many more.
 
Globant´s experts Juan Pereryra, Web UI Specialist; Gonzalo Auné, OpenSocial Software Developer; and Emilio Gutter, Agile Mentor, will offer lectures on the following subjects: 

- Thursday 21, 10 hs: Juan Pereyra, "Developing a Web 2.0 Project" (Roca Auditorium) 
- Thursday 21, 12 hs.: Gonzalo Auné, "Introduction to OpenSocial and Social Networks" (Roca Auditorium)
- Friday 22, 14 hs.: Emilio Gutter, "The Open Source Development process with Agile Methodologies” (Roca Auditorium)
