Globant, one of the fastest growing independent offshore IT outsourcing companies in Latin America and the biggest in Argentina, today announced the appointment of Daniel R. Kuperstein to the position of Executive Vice President, North American Sales and Operations. Mr. Kuperstein will assume a major role in the direction of Globant’s North American business development. He will report directly to Martin Migoya, Globant Chief Executive Officer.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tuesday, January 3, 2006 – Globant, one of the fastest growing independent offshore IT outsourcing companies in Latin America and the biggest in Argentina, today announced the appointment of Daniel R. Kuperstein to the position of Executive Vice President, North American Sales and Operations. Mr. Kuperstein will assume a major role in the direction of Globant’s North American business development. He will report directly to Martin Migoya, Globant Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining Globant, Dan Kuperstein spent 9 years in a series of senior positions at EMC, with special focus on Internet Marketing, E-Business and Globalization. In his last position at EMC, as the company’s Director of Globalization, Mr. Kuperstein was responsible for the corporation's overall globalization strategy and management of the company's worldwide program office. Mr. Kuperstein began his career at EMC in 1997, responsible for all global online marketing properties.

Before joining EMC, he was Managing Editor of Soft-Letter, a newsletter focusing on business issues and trends in personal computer software publishing. At Soft-Letter, Mr. Kuperstein also managed and deployed various first-generation E-business Internet sites. He began his career at McGraw-Hill as an economic analyst and reporter for various publications. He holds a B.A. from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and an MBA in International Management and Marketing from Suffolk University.
