Press Release
As part of the IBM Quantum Network, Globant helps companies in Latin America to discover the potential of quantum computing in their businesses
Buenos Aires, November 6, 2025 – Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, joined the IBM Quantum Network in an effort to help prepare and enable companies across the globe on their quantum journeys. As part of the network, Globant now has access to a fleet of utility-scale 100+ qubit quantum computers and premium access to Qiskit software, experts, support, premium learning resources and events.
According to IDC, Quantum computing business will grow by 41% until 2028 and will reach US$8.9 billion worldwide. However, organizations in Latin America said it will take 13 years to fully integrate quantum computing into their business. In fact, executives reported only 24% alignment of their quantum strategy with their business strategy according to an IBM Institute for Business Value Quantum Readiness Index Report from 2023.
"Quantum computing isn’t just a new kind of speed—it’s a new kind of thinking. Joining the IBM Quantum Network is an important step for Globant and for the companies we work with across multiple industries", said Dario Robak, Head of Quantum Computing at Globant.
"For more than 21 years, Globant has combined cutting-edge technology, human creativity, and a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses to help them reinvent themselves. We are not just preparing for the future of computing: we want to collaborate with IBM and our clients in shaping it”, added Diego Tártara, Chief Technology Officer at Globant.
Quantum computing is advancing rapidly. Between now and the end of 2026, IBM predicts that the quantum community will have uncovered the first quantum advantages, that is when quantum computers can run a computation more accurately, cheaply, or efficiently than a classical computer, alone. Companies starting today with quantum, will be ready to unlock this technology in their businesses, potentially locking in more than half of the benefits over a number of years being in the lead for each industry.
“To achieve IBM’s vision of delivering useful quantum computing to the world, we value clients like Globant’s ability to introduce this rapidly developing technology to a broad ecosystem of public and private industry. By working with Globant, organizations across Latin America will have a variety of options to gain hands-on experience to explore the potential of quantum computing in their industries,” said Scott Crowder, Vice President, IBM Quantum Adoption and Business Development.
