Globant Ventures announces investment in LinkedAI

LinkedAI is a Colombian Artificial Intelligence startup that optimizes data labeling for machine learning, guaranteeing solutions in less time, with less effort and with high quality.
 

BOGOTÁ – November 15, 2022 – Globant Ventures, Globant’s (NYSE: GLOB) global corporate fund, announced an investment in the startup LinkedAI, a Colombian company that developed a data labeling platform to train Artificial Intelligence models. This tool benefits thousands of companies that implement machine learning and create the necessary inputs to train algorithms.

LinkedAi's technology allows, for example, to train algorithms for detecting and diagnosing skin diseases from photographs that patients can take with their cell phones. It can also be applied to e-commerce platforms to suggest products that can increase sales. 

“In today's world, data is considered one of the companies' most important assets. However, most companies that use Artificial Intelligence face a big problem since more than 90% of AI projects do not reach production because they do not have the necessary data to train those algorithms”, said Paula Villamarín, CEO of LinkedAI.

This Colombian startup seeks to solve this situation by optimizing data labeling for machine learning, thus guaranteeing a solution in less time, with less effort, and with high quality.

LinkedAI has clients in the United States, Spain, France, South Africa, England, Chile, and Colombia. As a result of this $500,000 USD investment round, it will seek to strengthen and consolidate its market in Europe.
