Following a successful summer with “El Tri”, the federation will provide Sportian Performance, from Globant and LALIGA, to all 51 clubs across Liga BBVA MX, Liga BBVA Expansión MX and Liga Femenil BBVA as well as the men’s and women’s national teams

The platform provides advanced data, video analysis and real-time AI alerts to provide coaches, physios and players with the best tools to win

The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) has appointed Sportian, the division for sports products from Globant and LALIGA, to provide its advanced coaching platform Sportian Performance across its national competitions and national teams, powering a new era of growth for the national game.

The agreement, driven by the federation’s Centre for Innovation and Technology (CITEC), signals the start of a long-term collaboration designed to help Mexican men’s and women’s teams to compete with the best at domestic and international level, using the latest data and AI tools to make more informed decisions in pre-match, post-match and live match settings.

From the start of the 2026-27 season, a total of 51 men’s and women’s clubs across Liga BBVA MX, Liga BBVA Expansión MX and Liga Femenil BBVA are able to analyze all of their league matches through Sportian Performance, democratizing access to elite training and coaching tools.

Sportian had already provided Sportian Performance to the men’s national team this summer, allowing Javier Aguirre’s team to use the platform during its strong run to the last 16. It will now introduce Sportian Performance to the women’s national team, helping the FMF to modernize its entire sporting infrastructure and build a data-driven culture that will power the next generation of talent, as well as provide a new sporting edge across Mexican football.

“We are proud to support the Mexican Football Federation at such a pivotal moment for football across the country”, said Luis Ureta, CEO of Sportian. “By Launching  Sportian Performance, FMF is building the most advanced football intelligence ecosystem, launching a new era of agentic and data-driven solutions designed to create a lasting competitive advantage. This platform will empower clubs and coaches with cutting-edge tools to monitor performance, optimize planning and make real-time match decisions with greater precision and insight.”

Raúl González, Deputy Director of CITEC Business at the Mexican Football Federation, commented: “The World Cup represented a key moment to drive the transformation of Mexican football. Through Sportian Performance, teams can access cutting-edge technologies used by some of the world’s most important competitions. We are convinced that bringing these tools to more organizations will foster new ways of working in coaching and sports analysis, strengthening competitiveness and enriching the experience for our fans.”
