  • “I AI”: Globant’s New Commercial of the saga “Stuck in Consultancy” Playfully Pokes Fun at AI Trendiness, Highlighting the Track Record of the Company

  • 30 May 2023

    Press Release

I AI: Globant's new commercial

The new commercial, which was developed by the creative agency GUT, lays out—with sarcasm—how these days, many consultancies are trying to keep up with the AI trend. It highlights the importance of Globant's deep expertise in bringing together Artificial and Human Intelligence to deliver unique and innovative solutions.

NEW YORK – May 30, 2023 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technological solutions, announced today the launch of “I AI”, its new commercial from the “Stuck in Consultancy” saga. Developed together with the agency GUT Buenos Aires, the ad uses sarcasm to expose consultancies that want to quickly jump into the AI world.

AI is generating a vital revolution—transforming the present and future of business and our daily life. It has already proven its power to reinvent organizations and industries positively while increasing their human capacity. With vast expertise in developing digital experiences and delivering AI-based solutions, Globant cleverly employs humor in this commercial to talk about this trend and emphasizes the importance of bringing together the best of Artificial and Human Intelligence to become the most innovative partner.

“As part of the 'Stuck in Consultancy' saga, this new commercial not only showcases Globant's commitment to challenging traditional norms and paving the way for innovative solutions but also draws upon our extensive experience in the field”, claims Wanda Weigert, Chief Brand Officer at Globant. “If you bring together AI knowledge with great teams that understand the potential of the technology and the needs of each organization, you get a unique partner that delivers truly exceptional experiences.”

“We have been building our AI portfolio since 2015 with the AI Studio and products like Augoor, Genexus Next, StarMeUp, and MagnifAI. All of them speak to our deep knowledge and experience to create value for organizations worldwide,” adds Martín Migoya, CEO and Co-founder at Globant. “We will continue to scale up our Artificial and Human Intelligence power to influence every area, industry, and business for the better.”

Furthermore, Matías Lafalla and Ramiro R.Gamallo, DGC & Partners for GUT, add: “In the world of consultancy, it is common for brands to work with more than one consultant over the years—even simultaneously. From the agency, we took on the challenge of collecting previous experiences that Globant clients had with their competitors, and we recreated them with an ironic, humorous tone.”

Globant’s focus on AI started back in 2015 when it first launched a specific AI Studio and started investing in several strategic initiatives. During this time, the company has introduced and evolved key products and platforms deeply rooted in AI, such as StarMeUp, MagnifAI, Augoor and Genexus Next. Complementing its product portfolio, Globant has also consolidated its AI-offering and initiatives into an end-to-end program called MINDS to have a solid outlook on best practices across several industries.

  • Globant unveils MagnifAI 5.0, a major upgrade in its AI-powered testing platform

  • 23 May 2023

    Press Release

Magnifai 5.0

MagnifAI expands its offering by incorporating Generative AI to assist and further automate the testing journey

NEW YORK - May 22, 2023 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, has announced a major update to its AI-powered testing platform, MagnifAI. Through the use of generative AI, MagnifAI 5.0 can now autogenerate test cases and automation code snippets by simply describing requirements using natural language, boosting the ability of manual testers, test automation engineers, and many other professionals in the quality engineering space to use AI in concrete ways to improve their daily activities.

In the quality assurance field, the testing process involves several tedious and monotonous tasks, often consuming valuable time that could be spent on more meaningful creative assignments. By leveraging Generative AI technology, MagnifAI is at the forefront of the AI revolution, positioning itself as an AI-powered companion to optimize the testing journey, improve efficiency and deliver high-quality products and services.

“When we look at AI’s state-of-the-art capabilities, it's visible that while creators can produce more complex experiences, we have a gap in terms of what tools the quality engineering field has to validate these experiences simply and economically,” said Nahuel Franchi, MagnifAI Executive Director. “Our mission is to bridge that gap and integrate the enterprise-ready tools the AI field has to offer into the quality space.”

This strategic upgrade addresses the growing demand for AI-based platforms and demonstrates Globant and MagnifAI's commitment to innovation. MagnifAI 5.0 is the perfect complement to our professional services offerings, and all of our Quality Engineering Studio Globers will have access to these new capabilities and be certified in their use to expand how we provide services to our clients.

Launched in 2022, MagnifAI is an AI-powered automated testing platform that speeds up test cycles by incorporating artificial intelligence into any automation framework, making it possible to automate repetitive quality assurance tasks. The product is part of the Globant X portfolio, Globant’s division of next-gen products and platforms that helps organizations become the best version of themselves and get where they need to go, faster. Other Globant’s X platforms are Augoor, StarMeUp, Walmeric, and Genexus.

  • Globant’s “Diversity Behind the Screen” Report: Mapping for Designing Inclusive Learning Experiences

  • 04 May 2023

    Press Release

Neurodiversity

  • This is the first time an IT company has published a study that focuses on understanding how talent learns and identifies different learning preferences
  • The most preferred learning sources are videos and tutorials, online courses, and from peers
  • Almost half of the neurodivergent people prefer to learn at their own pace and with reduced sensory stimuli

NEW YORK - May 4, 2023 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions, published today the results of its Learning and Diversity Behind the Screen Report, which aims to understand how Globant employees (or “Globers”) learn in order to design new learning experiences which are more effective, inclusive, and personalized.

Globant understands that each person has different ways of understanding and participating in the world. To honor this individuality, Globant became the first IT company to develop a mapping that  contemplates not only diversities like gender, but also some that may be invisible such as neurodiversity, which means that people do not think, learn, or process information in the same way.

“The future of humanity depends on the solutions we create. A high-impact industry, such as technology, has the potential to influence other fields and be a game changer for society,” said Patricia Pomies, Chief Operating Officer at Globant. “Companies should focus on designing learning experiences that use new technologies and innovation to put employees at the center of the business. This will help ensure their employees are equipped with the skills they need to succeed according to their unique characteristics and specialties.”

One key finding of Globant’s study was that one of the main reasons employees start a learning process is related to work activities – for example, improving job career prospects. Additionally, the study shows the importance of practical and flexible learning to adapt at each individual's own pace. That’s why employees’ most preferred learning sources are videos and tutorials, online courses, and learning from peers. Most of these ways of learning share the characteristics of being quick, immediate, and adaptable to various schedules.

In terms of gender, the study found that there are some differences between people who identify as women and those who identify as men. For instance, women report a greater preference for learning to improve their careers, while men more frequently report deciding to learn when they have questions related to their roles and responsibilities.

Neurodivergence also plays an important role in learning preferences, and taking this into account is crucial for organizations to design more inclusive learning proposals. People who report neurodivergent conditions show different learning modalities compared to those who do not report these conditions. For example, almost half of the people in the “neurodiverse” group prefer to learn at their own pace and with reduced sensory stimuli.

The study aimed to generate an initial mapping of learning preferences with a focus on diversity in technology. Globant works to reinvent the technology industry, and believes that quality education from an inclusive, equitable, and diverse perspective is crucial to innovation. That's why Globant prioritizes generating high-impact training programs and initiatives, as well as promoting research and data that can enhance knowledge and encourage good practices in technology.

“We aim to introduce new learning proposals that empower individuals, and thereby contribute to the technology industry's creation of an ecosystem in which every person’s unique talents can thrive and develop. Only through this approach can we enhance human intelligence and skills, emphasizing those aspects that make us unique,” said Melina Masnatta, Global Learning & DEI Director at Globant

Starting today, our marketing, creativity, strategy and product management experts will work collaboratively in this new Studio and in close connection with all 35+ Globant Studios to leverage AI and other technologies with their expertise in multiple industries and markets. Globant Create will be one of the most certified and validated creative organizations globally, with partnerships with Adobe and Salesforce, along with being one of the few Google Partner Premier worldwide.
"Globant Create is a one-stop-shop for all marketing needs. We will accelerate growth for our clients by leveraging best practices on how AI, among other technologies, can apply to marketing and creativity and build competitive advantages at a global scale,” said Pepe Chamorro, former Habitant’s co-founder with 25+ years of experience and recently appointed Globant Create Studio Director. “At Globant Create, we believe in technology as the vehicle to make the world move forward, and in creativity as the energy behind it”, he added.
"Globant has become a global leader in digital and cognitive transformation. Consolidating our creative value proposition under a unified top team and leveraging the best array of technologies and a world-class delivery is a new milestone in our growth path," said Martín Migoya, Globant's CEO and co-founder. “We believe that brands and technology are more intertwined than ever before. Consumers are asking for more personalization and better interaction, and it's time for every brand to find the best way to leverage AI and Data, among other breakthroughs” he added.
With this new offering, Globant will leverage its expertise in working with clients such as Kellogg's, Mattel, Janssen, Uber, Nissan, Unicredit, Samsung, LaLiga, Electronic Arts, McDonald's, and Virgin telco, among others, to continue reinventing marketing needs.
