Buenos Aires, 24 January 2018 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digital native company that offers innovative technology services, has signed an agreement with YPF, the country's leading energy company, to work as a strategic partner in its digital transformation.

The first agreement of this alliance, which aims to apply the latest technologies and trends coupled with the power of Artificial Intelligence to improve customer experience, was formalized last month by YPF President, Miguel Gutierrez, and Globant Co-Founder and CEO, Martin Migoya, in a meeting at YPF’s offices.

The project’s goal is to take advantage of technology to enhance and enrich every contact with the brand, through the development of skills, infrastructure and tools that allow YPF to learn in each interaction, in order to personalize and expand customer experience.

"This agreement with YPF is aligned with our focus on helping our clients to emotionally connect with their consumers, to strengthen the bond with their employees, taking advantage of the power of trends such as Artificial Intelligence to optimize their business," Martin Migoya, Globant CEO and co-founder, explained. "We are convinced that our expertise in the creation of significant digital experiences, coupled with YPF’s know-how, can generate unique synergies, with results never seen in the country," he added.

"Companies that do not change and do not constantly seek efficiency will run aground on the way," said Miguel Gutierrez, president of YPF. "We want to address a transformation agenda, improve our processes and become efficient, modify the way we operate and rely on technology to grow," he emphasized.

This partnership allows Globant to strengthen its position in digital transformation by expanding its services to YPF, which seeks to position itself as a leader in innovation and technology, researching and investing to provide products and services that accompany the technological growth of the market to offer a better experience to its clients.

Globant is the first among the digital native companies that YPF adds to its transformation, as part of a disruptive process with which it seeks to open up to strategic partners, leaders in the digital world, who may provide creativity, innovation and technology.
