ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE 57TH IDEA COLLOQUIUM
This announcement is made as part of the company’s expansion plan in our country, where this year alone it has already confirmed a planned investment of $4.8 billion pesos in new offices (Tandil, Córdoba, Buenos Aires), its arrival in Tierra del Fuego and Bariloche, and growth plans in Resistencia, among other cities.
New York - October 14, 2021 - Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally native company that offers innovative technological solutions, announced its plans to hire 15,000 people in Argentina within five years. The announcement was made in the framework of Patricia Pomies’, Globant’s Chief Operating Officer, participation in the 57th IDEA Colloquium.
“We’re convinced of Argentina’s talent and we want to continue betting on generating more opportunities for the country. It’s a unique moment for the world and Argentina has the necessary skills to surprise the top companies in the world,” explained Patricia Pomies, Globant’s Chief Operating Officer. “We are in the tech industry that has an impressive transformative potential when matching opportunities across the country,” Pomies said earlier today.
Since its founding in 2003, Globant has brought opportunities where the talent is, actively working with more than 80 educational centers across the country and awarding more than 300 Code Your Future scholarships to encourage the entry of young people into the technology industry through the training in digital tools.
