This collaboration aims to harness the collective strengths of both organisations to accelerate innovation in the video game industry and bring specialist game development skills onboard. The consumer games market in the UK was valued at  £7.05 billion at the end of 2022 and UKie CEO, Dr.Jo Twist OBE, has said that the organisation is ‘pleased to see the UK video games consumer market has maintained its growth trajectory,’ despite the recent impact of the cost of living crisis. As the UK game culture continues to grow across streaming, toys and merchandise, films, TV,  books and event venues, Globant aims to leverage its immense growth potential by working closely with the makers, sellers and buyers across the ecosystem.
