May 11, 2020 -- Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a digitally-native technology services company, announced today it has launched Globant University to ensure continuous learning opportunities and career development for its employees in an evolving technology landscape.

Globant is committed to helping its employees – also known as “Globers” – hone and gain new skills with the introduction of Globant University. As Globant delivers dynamic services with high quality standards, upskilling and reskilling is critical for Globers. With new technologies and innovations constantly introduced, Globant puts its employees at the center of its work to ensure they are equipped with the skills needed to provide the best service possible to customers. The University provides Globers with self-learning journeys that empower them to reinvent their skills and gain access to meet customer demands and expectations in an ever-changing landscape.

Globant University will offer 40 learning paths aligned to careers during 2020. Globers are able to choose their career paths and nurture various soft and tech skills within Globant University. In addition, Globers can enroll in various schools within the University that are validated by an internal academic committee and are currently at their disposal:

  • Leadership School, which strives to help foster Globers’ leadership development and strengthen their management skills by giving them all the essential tools to leap ahead in their careers.

  • Tech School, which was created to promote Globers’ continuous learning in the areas of science, technology, engineering, software development and design.

  • Language School, which enables Globers to foster global opportunities by learning new languages. At Globant, breaking possibilities are everywhere, you just need to embrace them. The University offers courses for Globers to master English, Spanish and Portuguese.

  • Agile School, which aims to give Globers tools to master an agile mindset and culture on a daily basis. Scrum, Kanban, Safe, Lean, Agile Leadership, and other related skills.
