Globant Opens New Offices in Cordoba and Will Inaugurate Others in Chaco

The Argentinean multinational company reinforces its expansion in the country by going to Cordoba Capital and Resistencia.

Buenos Aires, January 2009 –Globant, leader in the creation of innovative software products that appeal to global audiences, opened last week new offices in Cordoba, in the Capitalinas Building located on Humberto Primo 620. Moreover, the company announced the opening of new offices in Chaco for 2010, in the Bolsa de Comercio Building inaugurated on December 21st.

“As I always say, one of our main goals is to promote the professional development of people without having to emigrate from their place of birth, and thus contributing to a sustainable growth of their communities,” explained Martín Migoya, Globant CEO and co-founder.

Globant has been present in Cordoba for a year, but the new offices aim to consolidate the local team and foster its growth. Globant will launch recruiting campaigns in the province, looking for Java and .NT programmers, experts in mobile applications, C++ and videogame development.

“Nowadays we have a team of 50 Globers working in Cordoba, but with this opening we plan to double our local staff in the next 5 to 6 months,” added Gabriel Allasia, Globant Staffing Manager.

In Chaco, Globant will make an investment of $ 1.5 MM to open the offices during 2010. The company aims to build a team of 100 people in the city, who will also be working for its portfolio of top clients, which includes companies like Google, Electronic Arts, Nike and Coca Cola.

“Just as we have in the rest of our delivery centers, we plan to offer career paths, IT trainings and special benefits for our Globers in Chaco,” asserted Migoya. “We trust to foster our growth through both these new offices; our culture is based on innovation and creativity, and we know that there is a lot of talent to build a solid ground and to keep on thinking big”.
