Globant presents a new edition of TesteAR in Rosario City

Together with Globant, the government of Santa Fe, the IT pole of Rosario, Desarrollar Foundation and Nodo Tau, are running a new edition of this social program.TesteAR aims to educate and train young adults with the skills and resources to pursue opportunities in technology and engineering.
Buenos Aires, September 2012 - Globant, the company leader in the creation of innovative software products for global audiences, along with Desarrollar Foundation, the government of Santa Fe, the IT pole of Rosario and Nodo Tau, presents a new edition of TesteAR: Globant’s Corporate Social Responsibility program which aims to educate and train young adults with the skills and resources to pursue job opportunities in technology and engineering.
TesteAR Rosario is the seventh edition of this initiative. From September 2012 to December 2012, 10 new students will be teaching the program, in La Tablada neighborhood, in Rosario City.
Previously, TesteAR has been successfully run in other cities such as Buenos Aires and Tandil. Globant is also looking to run more of these programs in other cities of Latin America.
The scheme of work follows 6 steps:
1- 10 young people will be trained in Manual Testing.
2- Globant works with young adults, between 18 and 25 years old, who have already graduated from high school.
3- The training runs for four months, four hours per day, from Monday to Friday.
4- The program consists of four modules: basic computer, technical English and professional and personal development.
5- TestAR gives each student $ 200 a month in scholarship and travel expenses.
6- Students will be permanently accompanied by a tutor and the TesteAR team.
