The Company will Participate in the World´s Most Popular Business Simulation Game
Buenos Aires, July 2009. – Globant, leader in the creation of innovative software products that appeal to global audiences, will sponsor the 2009 edition of the SEBRAE Challenge, the world’s most popular business simulation game that aims to encourage entrepreneurship among university students.
SEBRAE intends to instill organizational and corporative skills in university students, by letting them manage a “virtual company” throughout complex economic scenarios that demand quick and precise decision making.
This challenge –which started in Argentina in 2002 and is also played in countries like Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Ecuador, Uruguay and Peru, is organized by IAE Entrepreneurship Center and SEBRAE (Brazilian Service for SMBs). In this opportunity, Globant will be joining the Argentine edition as Gold Sponsor.
“With these initiatives, we want to promote and support innovative and creative entrepreneurship projects”, explained Martín Migoya, Globant CEO. “We know how valuable it is to keep training talent, that´s why we will be offering scholarships and mentoring talks to the participants.”
The game uses an exclusive software to improve the business abilities of every applicant, disregarding their studies. The winning team will get a scholarship for the High Potential Young Professionals Program at IAE and a trip to Rio de Janeiro to be introduced to business incubators and to represent Argentina for the SEBRAE International Final.
