Flip Thinking Talk: Welcome your customer, guess what he wants next & retain him
USER BEHAVIOR ANALYTICS: How to retain your customers by welcoming them as old friends and learning what they want next.
Flip Thinking talk is an event that will give you the tools to think differently and improve your career by using of your imagination.
We would like to invite you to an open conversation with Kurt Zimmer, Chief Technology Officer at Room Key —a hotel search engine funded by Marriott, Choice Hotels, Hyatt, Wyndham, InterContinental, and Hilton—to discuss highly successful use cases of big data predictive automation applied to targeting and the personalization of customer experiences.
Hotel booking sites today are characterized by very simplistic location search features and an almost total inability to know their customer – who they are, what they care about, and even what they’ve done in the past. In short you type in a starting location and the experience always starts from the very beginning, in the same way.
Room Key has embarked on an aggressive new approach to geography and is well underway in its work using advanced learning models and behavioral analytics to help customers find what they’re looking for, both spatially and behaviorally.
Over the course of this presentation we'll discuss Room Key’s complete re-architecture of geography and our approach to the use of advanced analytics and real-time learning. For the first time, the customer can feel like a site knows who they are and cares about how they make the journey from an idea to the final booking, while building on those experiences into the future.
